2) Volume-based premium (per account)
If your total orders/refunds volume is above 250 orders/refunds per month* (across all integrations on your account),
a volume-based premium applies once per month to your account.
We use a 5% buffer before moving you up a tier to avoid surprises from small one-cycle fluctuations.

* For direct CarryTheOne billing, the premium is assessed for each billing cycle using the rolling 30-day period (extrapolated if necessary for new accounts) before the point of determination, which occurs 11 days prior to the next payment on the account's primary subscription, and then applied to the subsequent billing period.
For Shopify, the volume-based premium is determined when a paid Shopify billing cycle begins, based on the preceding 30 days of orders/refunds volume, and applied as a Shopify usage charge for that billing cycle.
The 5% buffer delays movement up to a higher Volume Premium tier for one determination. If the next determination is again within the same higher tier's buffer range, the higher tier will apply because the volume no longer represents a temporary fluctuation. If your account has already been assigned to a tier, volume within that tier's buffer range will not by itself move the account down to the previous tier; a lower tier applies only when the assessed volume falls below the tier's normal starting threshold.
You must not create, maintain or use multiple CarryTheOne accounts for the same business, group of businesses under common control, or substantially connected trading operation for the purpose of avoiding or reducing Volume-Based Premiums. CTO may treat such accounts as a single account for Volume-Based Premium assessment and billing.
